Can I cancel a personalized Christmas card order I placed?

If your personalized Christmas card or Holiday greeting card order has not been printed you can cancel your order. Cancelled Christmas card orders will be charged a $20.00 cancellation fee and the remainder of your payment will be refunded to your credit card.

If your personalized Christmas card order has been printed, it cannot be cancelled and you will be charged full price of order. This is due to the personalization of each and every Christmas card order place.

Can I change my personalized Christmas card order once it is placed?

If you've placed your personalized Christmas card or holiday greeting card order and you've found you've made a mistake, please call us immediately.

We will confirm the status of your order, and will let you know if a change can be made.

Please note additional fees may be required to stop your order to make a change.

We encourage you to look over your personalized Christmas card order very carefully before approving it to avoid the cost of having it reprinted.

Can I change the type style used on my card?

Christmas and holiday cards and envelopes will be imprinted with the "block" type style shown on the web sample. You may request a change of type, such as another type style, or make the copy bolder, larger or in large and small capitals, the extra charge is $20.00 per order.

Please request samples of available type styles. (Type styles shown on our verses cannot be matched for name imprint or used to change type style of other verses.)

Can I change the verse shown in the card?

Christmas or Holiday cards with numbers starting with B, F and T are available with a FREE change of verse. Several alternate verse are clearly shown on the website when they are available. If you would like to customize your card with a verse of your own please refer to the Custom Verses FAQ.

Can I get personalized Christmas card samples?

Christmas card and Holiday greeting card samples are available for $5.00 each plus shipping.

Sample costs, not including shipping, will be credited to any personalized Christmas card order place within 90 days of the sample order.

To order personalized Christmas Card or Holiday greeting card samples, first find the card you are interested in; write down the card's identification number and give us a call at 970-481-4889.

Can I order additional personalized Christmas cards once my order is placed?

If you discover you need to increase the quantity of any personalized Christmas cards or Holiday greeting cards you ordered, contact us immediately. We will try to catch the order before it's printed. Once your personalized Christmas card order has gone to print you will need to place a new order for the additional quantity.

The price for an additional 25 Christmas cards is always a better value than a new order for 25.

Consider ordering an extra 25 in case of mistakes or last minute additions.

If your order cannot be stopped before it is printed, we will notify you to see if you would like to place an additional Christmas card order..

Can I personalize my envelopes?

Envelopes (including KwikSeal if available) may be imprinted with a return address on the back flap of the envelope. The address will be printed in the same color ink or foil as shown on the inside of the card. To determine the charge for envelope imprinting, please refer to the pricing under your card on the website. Two lines of copy are standard on envelopes. Extra lines are FREE and must be centered under each other.

If more than one card number is ordered (even though the envelope imprint copy is the same), envelopes are charged separately for each order.

Can I purchase blank Christmas Cards?

Many Christmas and Holiday greeting cards are available without verse or personalization (blank) at an additional discount of 25% off.

Card numbers starting with B, F and T are available completely blank on pages 2 and 3. If desired, please clearly mark the order form, "BLANK STOCK - NO VERSE - NO NAME". If you want your cards to be printed with a verse only (without a name imprint), please clearly mark the order form, "NO NAME - VERSE ONLY".

Please be sure to order enough blanks to cover your normal set-up and spoilage since any reorder is considered a new order.

Can I use a custom verse?

If your Christmas or holiday card order calls for a special verse, the extra charge is $30.00 per order plus the printed price of the card. Copy will be done in the block lettering shown below unless script is indicated. Samples shown below are reduced in size.

You may also submit artwork for your custom verse and imprint. Please see extra charges in the FAQ titled "Use of Customer's Logo, Artwork or Custom Copy".

Can I use a custom PMS color?

CHANGE OF COLOR

Our standard ink colors are Red, Blue, Hunter, Brown, Black, Burgundy, Silver and Gold. Any Christmas or Holiday card number starting with B, F or T (unless otherwise indicated) may have the ink color for both the verse and name imprint changed to one of our standard ink colors at no extra charge. If you want the verse and the name imprint printed in two different colors or stamped in foil, please call us at 1-800-680-2462 to request a quote for the extra charges for special work.

Any card number starting with S or V may ONLY have the name imprint changed to one of our standard colors at no extra charge unless otherwise indicated. (The verse color will stay as shown on the Website.)

If any non-standard ink color is desired, please supply the PMS color number ending in "U". The extra charge will be $60.00. Please allow 5 business days for PMS orders.

Can you assemble my cards for me?

FOLDING AND INSERTING CARDS IN ENVELOPES

Cards can be folded and inserted in envelopes at a charge of 20¢ per card. Clearly mark your order order with "Cards Folded and Inserted". A revised invoice reflecting your request will be emailed or faxed to you for your approval. Please allow an extra 2 business days for this service.

RIBBON TYING

Ribbons can be tied at a charge of 40¢ per card. Clearly mark your order with "Please Tie Ribbons". A revised invoice reflecting your request will be emailed or faxed to you for your approval. Please allow an extra 3 business days for this service.

Can you print my logo or artwork or custom copy?

We will PRINT artwork, logos or other custom work if you provide us with clean black and white artwork, which we will size to look good on you Christmas or holiday card. Please allow an additional 4 business days for these orders once we have both the order and artwork. We reserve the right to do a no-charge proof on any order with artwork, logos or custom work to confirm size, position, etc.

Your artwork must be clean and unblemished. Artwork must be mailed, emailed or uploaded. Do not FAX artwork. See format guidelines FAQ "What file formats do accept for logos and custom artwork?" for more detailed information.

Please Note, Additional Charges apply to all Christmas and holiday Cards printed with logos or custom artwork:

Whenever artwork is used (whether electronic or mailed), the following artwork charges will apply:

  • The additional charge to PRINT artwork, logos or other custom work on Christmas or holiday cards is $30 for the cards and or $30 for the envelopes.
  • On Christmas or holiday cards with a foil stamped name, the additional charge to FOIL STAMP artwork, logos or other custom work is $60 for the cards and or $60 for the envelopes.

Additional charges (in addition to the use of artwork charge)

  • There is an additional charge of $60 for digital artwork with screening. If your artwork does require screening, you must send the file in .TIF format. See format guidelines FAQ.
  • There is an additional charge of $60 to color separate 2 color artwork being used on Holiday cards.
  • There is an additional charge of $60 for close registration.
  • There is an additional charge of $60 if you want your artwork printed in a non standard ink color. You must supply us with the PMS number of the ink color you wish to use.

Can you print personalized Christmas Cards in a foreign language?

We can personalise your Christmas cards or Holiday greeting cards in a foreign languages when the letters are from the English alphabet. Such languages include: Spanish, and French.

Other languages can be printed when camera-ready artwork is supplied exactly as it should appear in print.

Can you RUSH my personalized Christmas card order?

Our personalized Christmas card and Holiday Greeting card production is very fast, usually 2-4 business days. We are unable to rush your Christmas card order because it is already being rushed.

However, we suggest you choose an expedited shipping method on the shipping screen to ensure the quickest delivery.

Do you accept personalized Christmas card returns?

Once your personalized Christmas card or Holiday Greeting card order has been printed All Sales are Final.

However, print errors sometimes occur. We do our best to make sure each Personalized Christmas Card is shipped exactly as you ordered it. If your order is filled incorrectly, please contact us as soon as possible.

How can I check my personalized Christmas card order status?

To check on your Personalized Christmas card or Holiday greeting card order, please call us and have your order number handy.

How do I place a personalized Christmas card reorder?

To reorder a personalized Christmas cards or Holiday greeting cards you ordered in the last 12 months, please call us and have your order or invoice number handy.

We DO NOT store your credit card number. so you will need to have your credit card ready every time you make a purchase.

How long will it take to print my personalized Christmas Cards?

Personalized Christmas Card Print Production Time

Most personalized Christmas and Holiday greeting cards are printed and shipped within 1 to 4 business days. However, there are certain Christmas cards and inventory levels that may require longer production times. Please feel free to contact us if you have a specific date you are trying to meet and we will do our best to make it happen.

Specialty Products Production Time

Certain custom options such as logo and custom inks may also increse the number of days it will take to print your Christmas or holiday cards. Please allow approximately 15 days durring peak season to print these cards. For more detailed information please contact us or referr to our other FAQs.

How will my personalization look?

Your Christmas or holiday card personalization copy will be imprinted with the verse, type style and ink color (unless otherwise indicated) you selected on the website. Please fill out all copy completely. (Please do not refer to a previous year's Purchase Order Number, as we do not keep Purchase Orders from prior years.)

Usually the first line of the imprint will be in ALL CAPITALS (unless otherwise indicated). If more than one line of imprint is required, capitals and small letters (rather than all capitals) will be used for each additional line (unless otherwise indicated). Extra lines are FREE and will be centered under each other.

I keep getting page errors while ordering personalized Christmas cards?

If you receive a page error while processing your personalized christmas card order, it is most likely due to using your browser's back and/or forward buttons. It is important to use the site navigation buttons, such as edit and continue. If problems persist, please contact us.

Is the ChristmasCards4Less card store secure?

At ChristmasCards4less we use VeriSign, the industry standard for credit card processing to provide protection for your credit card information. Your credit card number will be encrypted for safe transmission. We DO NOT store your credit card number after your Christmas card or holiday greeting card order has been completed.

You will need to re-enter your credit card every time you make a purchase or reorder Christmas Cards.

My computer locked up now what?

Frozen Computer / Machine Errors

If your machine locks up while ordering personalized Christmas cards or Holiday greeting cards, you might try to refresh or reload the page you are viewing. If problems persist, please contact us so we can be of assistance. If you are in the middle of the ordering process and you freeze up, you'll need to retype and resubmit your order.

What do I do if there are printing errors?

If you find an error in your Christmas or holiday card order, please FAX, call or email us within 10 days of receipt of order. Do not send a copy of the order, we have it on file. Just refer to Account and Invoice Numbers from the invoice enclosed in your package (or mailed if drop-shipped).

If the error is ours, we will redo it at no charge. If the error is yours, you will receive an additional 1/3 courtesy discount when we reprint them.

Please note, you may be asked to return incorrect merchandise.

What file formats do accept for logos and custom artwork?

The Following File Formats are acceptable for custom artwork and logo printing on your Christmas and holiday Greeting Cards.

. QXD Quark Press ®
. PMx Adobe Page Maker ®
. AI Adobe Illustrator ®
. PSD Adobe Photoshop ®
. EPS Encapsulated PostScript
. PDF Portable Document Format (A postscript generated file viewable by either Macintosh ® or PC via Adobe Acrobat ®.)
We DO NOT accept: .BMP, .GIF or .JPG files.

Please be aware that there are additional charges for printing custom artwork or logos on all our Christmas and holiday greeting cards. Please see " Can you print my logo or artwork or custom copy?"

Use Solid Colors To get the best quality possible please send artwork files in Black and White. Try to avoid shading, gradations, and blends. Artwork with shading may drop out or appear dotted. Use solid fills and outlines for best results. If your artwork does require screening, you must send the file in .TIF format and there will be an additional charge of $60.

All Artwork files MUST meet the minimum requirement of 600 DPI.

We currently have the capability of working with the following programs (or earlier versions of them).

On some applications such as Quark Xpress® or Pagemaker® you must include all the fonts and images in the document.

On some applications such as llustrator® converting all text to paths/outlines/ or curves will eliminate the need for the fonts. Paths make logos more stable and less likely for spacing to change between letters and words.

The Following Compression software is acceptable:
WinZip® (.ZIP) and Stuff-It ® (.SIT) (WinZip is Preferred)

PLEASE INCLUDE ALL FONTS AND IMAGES IF YOU USE THEM. DO NOT EMBED IMPORTED IMAGES. LINK ALL IMPORTED IMAGES TO THE FILE.

What forms of payment does ChritmasCards4Less.com accept?

ChristmasCards4less accept Visa and MasterCard.

  • Payment is due at the time your personalized Christmas card or holiday greeting card order is placed.
  • All orders are billed in U.S. dollars.
  • Sales tax may be added to your final invoice total depending on the state, county and city you are in.

What is the deadline to place my order?

We will accept and ship Christmas and holiday card orders received until noon, MST, on December 16th. Please be sure to indicate any special shipping method desired, especially for orders placed late in the season.

What shipping methods are available?

Continental United States:

Several Domestic shipping options are available ranging from ground to priority overnight.

International Shipping:

We do provide international shipping to countries serviced by UPS. You may select the -International Shipping Available- link on the store's home page for a complete listing of the countries. Charges are based on weight and destination.

NOTE: Most orders are shipped UPS Ground Service. Be sure to add on the appropriate shipping time (2-7 days) based on your location and shipping service level. For an expedited shipping service, please indicate method on shipping screen.

What type of printing does ChristmasCards4Less.com use?

ChristmasCards4Less's personalized Christmas cards, Holiday greeting cards and envelope flaps are flat printed. However, foil stamping is an option for some christmas and holiday cards.

What won't you print on a personalised Christmas card?

ChristmasCards4less reserves the right to refuse to print any copy that may be considered harassing, profane or abusive in nature.

Will I get a proof before you print my cards?

Christmas and holiday card proofs are available upon request.

Orders with quantities less than 500 cards, the extra charge is $20.00.

For orders with quantities of 500 or more cards, the proof, when requested, is FREE.

Proofs will be FAXED, emailed or mailed within 3 business days of receipt at Birchcraft. Special printed PMS or two-color proofs are $70.00, regardless of quantity size and will take 5 business days plus mailing time.

We reserve the right to FAX or email no-charge proofs whenever we need to clarify copy, size of logo, position or any other extraordinary work.

Custom verses will always be proofed at no charge. Second or additional proofs on an order will take one additional business day for each new proof. All international orders will be proofed at no charge. Allow an additional 2 days for orders with two-color printing or PMS ink.
